Bruce Fairley

Bruce Fairley is a lawyer in private practice. He has lived in the Columbia Valley since 1988 and has acted as counsel for Wildsight on a number of occasions, as well as for the Environmental Mining Council of B.C. and The Alpine Club of Canada. His chief environmental interests are the protection of wilderness, wildlife and water resources. He is a member of the Golden Backcountry Recreational Access Committee and has been active in recreational land use planning in the Golden area for many years. His main recreational interests are climbing, hiking and skiing, and he has authored two books about climbing. He also founded The Alpine Club of Canada Environment Fund.
