Alex Eymann
Alex worked as an engineer for Noranda for 30 years before taking early retirement and relocating to the Creston Valley, where he has been a Director of the Creston Valley branch of Wildsight since 2004. Other board experience includes serving as vice-chair and principal negotiator on the Lake Superior Board of Education. His deep appreciation for the boreal forest and the desire to better conservation led to involvement with the Canadian Wildlife Federation, from president of his local organization, to Ontario branch Director, where he initiated formation of the Forestry Committee and lobbied government departments and forestry companies for better cutting and reforestation practices. He is always striving for better checks and balances to protect our land, water and air.
