Lake Windermere Program Coordinator
Raised in a family of naturalists and outdoor enthusiasts Kalista acquired a deep knowledge base and respect for the environment at an early age. Fascinated by underwater wonders since childhood, Kalista joined Wildsight in 2007 and has become an essential part of the Lake Windermere Project. Her creativity and enthusiasm to share her love for the outdoors has been instrumental in water stewardship education in the Columbia Valley. In 2008 she obtained a diploma in Renewable Resource Management at Lethbridge College and has plans to continue her education with a Fish and Wildlife Technology certificate and a BSc in Environmental Science. Kalista has also volunteered her time with organizations such as The Wildlife Society, Ducks Unlimited Canada, the Helen Schuler Nature Center, and Wings Over The Rockies Bird Festival.
