Wildsight Thankful for Efforts

On April 22, a group of dedicated volunteers came together on Earth Day to clean up the Reflection Lake area. Wildsight has been hosting this event for many years, and we want to thank all of those members who came together for this event. This year, volunteers from Council of Canadians and Golden Active Transportation group joined us. We also want to thank the Town of Golden and staff for installing the new signs and helping to keep the Reflection Lake area clean and safe.
Reflection Lake is sensitive, especially during the nesting and rearing seasons.
Please respect wildlife and make sure that the people and dogs frequenting the area avoid disturbing shoreline nesting habitats and the wildlife that depend on these habitats for their survival.
