Residents save money with wood stove exchange program

Barb and Allan Streich of Kimberley participated in the East Kootenay Wood Stove Exchange Program, and are seen here with their new high efficiency, low emissions fireplace insert. The Streichs exchanged their old wood stove, and Wildsight presented them a rebate cheque for $350. There are still rebates available throughout the region, on a first come, first served basis. But remember, 2010 is that last year of provincial funding for the program!
