Nature needs a strong voice

John Bergnske, Wildsight Executive Director

a message from Wildsight's Executive Director John Bergenske

Dear Wildsight Supporter,

I’m proud to send you this link to our 2010 Annual Report.

New education programs, new awards, new commitments from government to protect the wild places we care about - this is the legacy of 2010.

Thanks to members like you, we’re moving forward as one of B.C.’s leading environmental organizations.

I have the privilege of representing you in meetings with decision makers across the province, and your voice is being heard.

Help us by giving one gift membership

We’re grateful that you’re already on our team.

And we’re pretty sure you know a few people who’re ready to stand up for the wild, too.

If you’re like me, you know several people who appreciate Wildsight’s efforts and accomplishments but who have - for whatever reason - never supported Wildsight by joining.

The simple truth is, we’re asking these people to join now - and we hope you’llhelp us.

Together, we do what needs most to be done

Wildsight is all about...

  • Protecting healthy ecosystems
  • Promoting a vision of more sustainable communities

Education in the Wild is opening doors to the natural world.

Our award-winning initiatives are helping build the foundations of an informed community, and only an informed community will demand protection of rivers and special places like the Flathead and Jumbo.

Only an informed community will stand up for endangered mountain caribou and threatened grizzly populations.

We’re committed to protect the Columbia and Rocky Mountain ecosystems against pressures that would strip them of their ability to function.

But we need more members on our team.

Gift memberships = a stronger voice for the wild

Will you consider giving a Wildsight membership to a friend this year?

It’s easy - just click here.

It’s affordable—just $20 for the whole year, or $25 for a family.

A Wildsight membership will mean more to your nature-loving friends than any DVD or pair of socks ever could.

Take this opportunity

We all have an opportunity to make a real difference for the wild.

I thank you for caring about the natural world and for supporting Wildsight—it makes a real difference.

I hope you’re so passionate about the wild that you decide to give at least one friend or family member a Wildsight gift membership this season.

For the wild,

John Bergenske

Wildsight Executive Director
