We’ve contacted you before on proposed developments on Ventego and Cupola Creeks.

Right now, these watersheds, along with Alder Creek (another ecologically intact watershed,) are officially up on the IPP main stage
for stakeholder review and input.  

The public comment period is on now until April 1, 2011.

Here’s the story: an Independent Power Producer (IPP) has taken its next step in the critically-flawed provincial IPP approval process to
build dams, long diversions, roads and transmission lines into these
drainages.

Collectively, it’s called the Beaver River Hydroelectric Project.

It’s up to US to determine the future of these Rivers at Risk
