Extension to Confluence Park

At a recent Golden Backcountry Recreation Advisory Committee (GBRAC) meeting, a representative from the Ministry of Environment put forward a proposal to extend Confluence Park.

The idea to extend the park was prompted by a number of factors, including the destructive presence of off-road vehicles and the discovery of a rare species of plant.
