East Kootenay Woodstove Exchange - Invermere Valley Echo
A program has been set up to upgrade wood stoves at a fraction of the cost for the sake of going green. The program is a partnership between Wildsight and the RDEK, and municipalities.
Exchange your old, uncertified wood stove for a new, EPA or CSA certified wood, pellet, or gas heating appliance, and dispose of your old appliance at RDEK transfer stations.
New appliances must be purchased at a participating retailer starting March 1, 2010.
