NOW SOLD OUT - Banff Mountain Film Fest in Cranbrook on Jan 7
7:30 pm on Sat. Jan 7, 2012
Snuggle into your seat and enjoy some of the best and most exciting films from the 2012 Banff Mountain Film Fest. The Cranbrook stop of the world tour features a great mix of adventure, cultural and environmental mountain films that keeps the audience spellbound through-out the evening. Not only will you experience an unforgettable evening of fantastic films and have the opportunity to win one of the coveted door prizes, you'll also be supporting Wildsight's local environmental work.
And speaking of the environment, in an effort to minimize the amount of greenhouse gas produced from travel to the event by those who aren't within walking distance of the theatre, consider organizing a carpool. Check out www.kootenayrideshare.com to find a ride to the event or to let people know that you've got extra room in your vehicle. Let's make the long line of cars snaking back to Kimberley a thing of the past!
Tickets are $22 and are available in Cranbrook at the Key City Theatre box office and in Kimberley at Black Bear Books & Video. The event typically sells out so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. If you live out of town the easiest way to purchase tickets is by calling Key City Theatre at 250 426-7006 to reserve your tickets. Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday 11am-3pm.
Proceeds of the evening event go towards Wildsight's local sustainability projects.
