Invermere Mayor Gerry Taft talked to BBC environment correspondent Sarah Mukherjee about the future of Windermere Lake in May, 2009.

Taft (along with LWP program manager Heather Leschied) attended the International Lakes Conference held at Windermere in the U.K.

He gave a key note speech and signed the Official Sister Lake Partnership agreement that will link Windermere Lake in B.C. with Windermere, Cumbria, in England’s Lake District.
