Cranbrook welcomes new Wildsight team
Bringing the wild message to the region’s largest city
Cranbrook has a new Wildsight team: Sherri McPherson and Corinna Robinson.
Sherri and Corinna will be working with Cranbrook residents: to bring them more information about regional hot-button issues and to help them tap into great local resources for sustainable living.
“There’s no question that a healthy natural environment is important to our lives now — and to future generations,” said Sherri. “We’re extremely fortunate to live in this beautiful area, bounding with natural wonders for all to enjoy. We know that keeping our land, air and water intact and clean helps our communities thrive.”
Sherri has a bachelor of science and is a Registered Professional biologist. She’s been a biologist on projects throughout the East Kootenay and in other parts of B.C.
Corinna Robinson has a bachelor of science in Natural Resource Conservation and has worked as a research assistant on numerous projects through BC and Alberta.
“We know there are people in the Cranbrook area who are interested in learning more about what Wildsight is doing, and what they can do to help,” Sherri said. “We will make it easier for them to connect with Wildsight.”
Wildsight’s Cranbrook team plans to host events and activities.
