Solstice date spurred by overwhelming demand for cheap and cheerful heating solutions

So many people registered for Practical and Effective Solar Heating on June 19 that organizers have added a second date, June 21, which coincidentally is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year in terms of daylight.

The Monday workshop will take place at the Kimberley Campus of the College of the Rockies between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The price is $179 + GST. Spaces are still available.

Practical and Effective Solar Heating features Tang Lee, a professor of architecture at the University of Calgary. Lee has designed Canadian solar heating systems since 1975.
