People Power Tour

BC Citizens for Public Power’s has launched its provincial PEOPLE POWER tour.

A film screening and a presentation by ecologist/activist Rex Weyler.  Wildsight's Rachel Darvill will also speak about her trip into Ventego Creek and give the latest update on Selkirk Power's local run-of-river hydroelectric proposals.

Rex Weyler served as a director of the original Greenpeace Foundation in Vancouver and as editor of the Greenpeace Chronicles. Weyler speaks around the world on environmental topics and he appears regularly in The Tyee, Common Dreams, and is presently writing a book about ecology and economy.
