Fernie Christmas Bird Count

Fernie Nature Club and all who would be interested in participating in the Christmas Bird count for 2010. The date has been set and we will be doing our count in Fernie  Tuesday Dec. 14, 2010.  If you would like to help this year please call me and let me know Phone 250 423-6699. Participant  fee will be $5.00 as in the past and feeder watchers are free.  I would also like you to help me make this count the best we have had by recruiting anyone you know that would be interested in being a feeder watcher or full participant whether they are Nature Club members or not.  We will be doing a short evening session for those who would like to participate and want to reinforce the reasons for the count and how to record the birds we see.

I hope that many will join us this year and I will be making further arrangements as to where we will be counting, meeting and times involved for the full 24 hour count day.
