Discussion Courses

The Northwest Earth Institute's (NWEI) hallmark program, the Sustainable Living Series is a set of discussion courses available for any small group who would like to engage in stimulating conversation about ways to take action towards creating a more sustainable future.

There is no outside presenter or teacher needed to run these courses.  Rather, anyone can organize a group in their community with the role of facilitator rotating with each meeting.

Wildsight has donated the following course guides to the library:

  • Global Warming: Changing Course
  • Choices for Sustainable Living (11 course guides available)
  • Menu for the Future (9 course guides available)
  • Voluntary Simplicity
  • Healthy Children, Healthy Planet
  • Discovering a Sense of Place

For more information on each of the course offerings, or for more information about the Northwest Earth Institute, visit the NWEI website or contact Wildsight's Kimberley office at 250.427.3427 or kimcran@wildsight.ca.
